WASHING/DRYING OR DRYING ONLY LINE (R2)
Chemical and physical treatments for recovery of the solvent fraction contained in various types of waste (for example: exhausted organic solvents, distillation residues, exhausted paints, resins, carbons, solvent-based inks, glues, mastics, adhesives, solvent-contaminated sludge, tank sludge and mother water with solvent).
This recovery activity can also use waste instead of additives.
The cycle can involve one or more steps, including distillation (liquid waste), filtration, decanting, dehumidification, basification, acidification, passivation, deodorisation and clarification.
Solvent recovery is preceded by various processing operations necessary for the treatment (base separation, selection and functional draining to obtain various waste types, shredding of solid waste and containers, selection and sorting of solid residue to separate metals and plastic, etc.)
DRYING PROCESS
This is carried out in evaporators, into which the waste is loaded after shredding. It is then subjected to the combined action of a vacuum and heat (provided by high-temperature oil circulating in the outer jacket of the dryer).
This results in the evaporation of the volatile substances present in the waste, which are then condensed and collected.
WASHING/DRYING
This consists in the fluidification of solid waste with solvent. The solvent-detergent is then recovered for reuse, while the washed residue passes through a drying cycle. The semi-finished product obtained undergoes further rectification (distillation) for sale.
DRUM/TANK WASHING LINE (R2)
there is a low-environmental impact washing system in which soiled containers considered suitable for recovery can be washed after verification of their structural integrity and suitability for subsequent use.
MIXING (R12/D13) OR CONSOLIDATION (R12/D14) LINE
Grouping (mixing, by way of derogation from art. 187 of Legislative Decree 152/2006) and reconditioning (consolidation of waste with the same code and, if hazardous, the same hazard characteristics) activities can be carried out on waste such as sludge from the chemical and physical processing of industrial wastewater, solvent distillation sludge, sludge from the distillation of waste from fabric dry cleaning, sludge powders with a solvent content <1%, used carbon, absorbent materials, resins and tumbling waste. Waste from internal "Drying" activities can al-so be treated.
SHREDDING LINE (R12/D13)
There is also have a shredding line for waste consisting of paper/cardboard, laminates, insulating materials, plastic, wood, rags, filter materials and filters.
SORTING LINE (R12/D13)
SELECTION AND SORTING ACTIVITY
This activity, which can also involve unpacking and repackaging, can be aimed at the elimination of extraneous portions or, if performed on "mixed" waste, implemented in order to obtain waste of a homogeneous nature that can be enhanced or directed to the next best management chain.
EXTINGUISHER EMPTYING
We have a line specifically for disassembling and emptying powder extinguishers.
